Dont Work for Dodgy Feckin* Brickies

After reading few posts on crook employers recently, i thought i'd give my 2cents of public service anouncement.

Just finished 2nd week for LIMETREEE (previously Advanced Brickwork) building firm who are hiring gear & employing subi-scaffs for labour.

No wages as yet and after discussing in the canteen soon apparent everyone has a story to tell.
The Job was advertised as fortnightly pay, but the other scaff & labourers working there got chq end of week one? then fortnightly after.
Some weeks chq? some bacs? weeks late? NEVER on time? One lad worked 6weeks & only been paid 3 so far? WTF?
Most the brickies "friends & family", been with them years and always paid on time, weekly!???
Apparently last 2 jobs been like this too, office always full of sh*t claiming chq sent on thursday but then turn up weds after with yesterdays post mark on them? usual bullsh*t...

Working in an A Cat prison so when this mythical chq appears when exactly can i cash it? No phones etc on the job, so how do you chase it up? wait 3 weeks plus for wage? dont think so d*ckhead
I'll stick with it one more week before start pulling teeth!:D

just warning people as were advertising recently online & i know they got other jobs in Lincon.

Suppose i should just be grateful i got a reason to leave the house everyday & dont have to listen to the screaming kids:D

ps.It is not a subcontractors job to pick up the slack for sh*t mangers who cant balance there feckin* books!:mad:
 
Brickies are c.unts.
Brickies with Scaffolders working for them are even BIGGER C.UNTS!

Id avoid working for any Bricky Firm, as your asking to get ripped off.
Cowboys the lot of them.
 
They lay bricks cos they're too fooking hamfisted & lazy to turn a spanner. I should know my uncle was one. Most bone idle bastid I've ever worked for. God rest his sole. :blink1:

same old story again ******* knocking the scaffs and as for bricky well we wont go there be here all day lol.
 
I've work for them advanced brickwork

supervisor was dave williams

he always made sure i got paid and i got top dollar of him because i kept the brickies going and it was all kwikstage as well

brickes was doing 4 half days i was doing 7 job a knocks etc

good man was dave williams

I worked for them as well Teesside never had any problems with pay. Did dave williams die of cancer
 
Don't know Advanced Brickwork but to add my two cent's worth the only time I have been knocked for my money was when leaving Swift scaffolding - a company owned and run by bricklayers. I can say this because I do have all the relevent paperwork in proof.
 
Unsure if were talking about the same mob TEESIDE,
Where were they based?
I think there offices are in Newark. I googled advanced brickwork and got firms from Essex, Newark, Middlesex, Bexleyheath and others.
Most of brickies from south Yorkshire. Supervisor on this job is Aden Otley.
Ring any bells?
