Please note: Due to the rigs location only candidates that have full eligibility to work in the UK will be considered for this position. Due to mobilisation allowances successful candidates will need to be currently living within the UK.
Our client requires a member of Deck Crew to take up a permenant core crew position on one of their North Sea FPSO Assets. Working under the direction of the Deck Foreman you will be charged with assisting in Heli Deck operations as well as directing deck lifting and rigging equipment on-board. You will also be charged with erecting scaffolds and inspecting erected scaffolding equipment on-board.

This permanent position is currently on a 2 weeks on, 3 weeks off rotation. Other than the headline rates the package includes a full staff pension, private health cover and a seniority bonus scheme. This is an excellent opportunity to gain permanent stable employment with progression opportunities obtainable through the company's competency scheme.

Minimum Criteria:

At least 2 years offshore in a Deck Crew position - of which at least 2 trips should have come on FPSOs
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
Offshore Survival, Fire fighting and Huet
UKOOA Medical
Rigging and lifting experience
Helicopter Fire-fighting and refuelling tickets
For the right candidate this is an excellent opportunity to work as a permanent member of staff on an FPSO with on-going career progression opportunities. Applicants who do not meet the desired minimum criteria will not be considered.

You get about 2700 take home as well as pension, bupa, dental cover.

You will also get loads of course's and get paid time and a half for going on them.

Scaffolding wise it's sh**e, you are expected to work on your own, nightmare mate.

And being part of the deck crew you feel like you are the lowest of the low if am being honest, you get all the s***e job's

But do what i did and used it to get all the course's and got something better.

i wish them luck in finding someone with , deck crew, rigging and scaffolding experience who actually wants their job , it used to be you could get this job as a scaff , then they'd put you through these courses , now they want someone who has them all .

That's because i got all the course's off them and then f**Ked off! ha-ha.

nice one m8 , fuckin right, done a few trips in this role myself , id take the job , but wouldnt and couldnt get the rigging/deck crew experience , its not possible
