Job description
This post involves teaching and assessing on scaffolding programmes across all levels of qualifications offered within the school including full and part time programmes.
You will be expected to actively contribute to curriculum development and the quality of the provision. Relevant industrial experience and knowledge of current industrial and technical developments in the industry are essential along with excellent communication, organisational and team working skills.
Your hours of work will be flexible and may include evening and weekends and holiday periods accommodating student demand. You will be required to undertake course leadership responsibility which entails managing a course team, monitoring attendance, retention and achievement and learner support.
The successful candidate will have a related academic/vocational qualification in a relevant curriculum area of construction (scaffolding) and a teaching qualification (or be working towards).
