Core Crew Advanced Scaffolder - Kittiwake Platform

An advanced scaffolder is responsible, as part of a scaffolding team, for erecting scaffolds which are adequate for the purpose they wereintended and comply with EN12811-1; ensuring that they are stable and in a safe condition. He is also responsible, again as part of ascaffolding team for dismantling scaffolds in a safe manner. Types of scaffold structures erected include – independent tied scaffold,tower scaffold, birdcage scaffold, suspend scaffold and cantilever scaffold. He is also responsible for the inspection of the scaffold oncompletion, and thereafter at weekly intervals, and to verify that the structure has been erected in the correct manner. It is theirresponsibility to ensure that plant and equipment is maintained on a regular and daily basis throughout the workscope duration, being akey member as part of the team to deliver a high standard of work on project completion.
Work Location:
The position is primarily offshore in the U.K Oil & Gas Sector, although this can change to being onshore based or in overseas locations.
The adhoc nature of the projects undertaken can result in irregular work rotas short term to long term periods dependant on the
workscope. Requirements Applicants must have the following experience and certification or be able to achieve them for the relevant role:
Advanced Scaffolding CISRS card
Working at height modules 1-3 and 6
Offshore Survival & MIST
Minimum of 3 years offshore experience
Minimum Task Achievement Requirements:
Erect scaffold tower
Dismantle scaffold tower
Erect independent scaffold
Dismantle independent scaffold
Erect birdcage scaffold
Dismantle birdcage scaffold
Erect hanging and cantilever scaffolds
Dismantle hanging and cantilever scaffolds
