Worley Parsons is hiring Scaffolding Supervisors for a hydrocarbons mega project.
These roles are site based in central QLD, operating on a FIFO basis, and are primarily responsible for scaffolding activities in a safe and effective manner. In addition these roles will guide Contractors to ensure that the project schedule and specifications are met and that work is completed safely within budget and on time.
Accountabilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

•Demonstrating excellent safety leadership abilities on a construction site by organising, administering and controlling scaffolding activities in accordance with the relevant legislation, client and internal requirements;
•Providing excellent technical skills in scaffolding;
•Monitoring contractors work and ensuring it complies with standards and regulations;
•Reporting on safety, technical, quality, cost and time;
•Executing field inspection checklists;
•Reviewing and authorising scaffolding studies;
•Participating in job hazard analysis’; and
•Organising permits to work as required.


Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have to demonstrate:

•At least 15 years heavy industrial construction background;

•Significant experience leading and supervising scaffolding activities in a construction environment on mega projects;

•Understanding of Australian industrial relations;

•Long experience working in remote environments; and

•Experience in supervising Contractors.
