canadian looking for work in Australia

Harv, you wont get residencey as a scaffolder in Australia,it's not recognized as a trade and as such doesn't give enough points for residencey. If you have managment experience and a diploma relevant to managing companies it can be done,but you'll need to find a company to sponsor you before you come.

I have been told that quite a few Aussies and Kiwis are making the move to Canada. Especially scaffolders.
Australia has some beautiful scenery but a mine or a LNG plant look the same wherever they are!
Good luck though.
