I want to know the best route to take to become a health and safety inspector/officer I am a part 2 Scaff just need the info as which road to take as haven't a clue I know there is a nebosh card involved but don't know what else would have to be done

Start by disowning your fellow scaffs then telling everyone what they are doing is wrong learn how to know whats best finally get into bird twitching as this is great practice for catching people out:blink1:
Or register with IOSH. And start a blog about what you are doing and why when it then keeps a log of your safety record

Nebosh is a must before you even start to look for employment, then some companies ask and require experience at least 3 to 5 years. If you require this certificate look over seas there is a lot of work for Safety Advisors. Good luck you will need it.

Don't ever become one of those inspectors that absolutely hate scaffs they pic **** with a stick I think a few of there wife's were scaffed that would explain a lot

I'm jus thinkin of the money lads as we all know the arse have feel out of the Scaff game theres no money In the game no more so jus lookin for what else I could do u know

Safety adviser

Hello supascaff. I've been a H&S adviser on and off for the last 2 years. I am now back on the tools due to the dough that safety brings in is not up to the Mark however I have a few interesting roles with not bad pay. You need the Nebosh contruction cert which costs about £600 distance learning. Then become a member of IOSH if you pass that as the failure rate is high.Hope this helps a bit mate. Any questions feel free to PM me. Cheers. Allan
