I am working for the University of Westminster on an oral history project titled 'Constructing Post-War Britain, 1950-1970: Building Workers Stories'. Basically, the aim of the research is to set up an oral history archive of around 50 workers who were employed on any of the following sites: South Bank Arts complex; Barbican Estate; Sizewell A Power Station; Isle of Grain Power Station; Stevenage New Town. If anyone on this forum worked on any of these sites, or knows someone who did, and would like to participate, please contact me either on this forum, or at c.mcguire@westminster.ac.uk
Cheers.
