errrr Primark in Skipton has Georgian numerals on its clock face Phil, these are Victorian its the clock tower on Woolworths in Macclesfield, obvsOn second thoughts, it's clearly Primark in Skipton.
Thanks for that D1ck Wittington xxThat is a freestanding tower we did back in December 1999. It was sheeted in painted monoflex so it resembled the clock tower on the Houses of Parliament. The thinking behind this was that there would be too many camera crews trying to film the real thing for the Y2K millennium celebrations that there was a danger of crushing in Parliament Square.
The replica was about 63 metres high and dwarfed the worlds tallest scaffold staircase which is behind it.
Big Ben is actually one of the bells inside the tower.

No Fred, I was busy that day. Was it something to do with a job and streets paved in gold, not unlike another story I've heard recently.Whittington. Haven't you ever seen a pantomime?
Not Big Ben Scaffy. Big Ben is actually the bell not the tower. Sorry for being pedantic.![]()
