Our client is currently looking for Advanced Scaffolder's to work in Adelaide, Australia. You must:
• Hold advanced tickets and be able to demonstrate at least 5 – 10 years’ experience in the field.
• Be able to read and interpret plans, have experience managing other workers and be prepared to work in both city and remote locations.
• Have a current drivers license
• Have a clean police record and be prepared to undergo a full medical. All workers will be tested for drugs and alcohol on site and on a regular basis.
In terms of salary, this is mostly relevant to the site location. When workers are required to work at remote sites then the rate of pay will increase and the employer will included accommodation and meal allowances. When workers are allocated to city and metropolitan areas then the rate of pay is not as great and the need for accommodation and meal allowances is obviously made redundant. The salary is between $55,500 - $150,000 depending on the applicants skills and experience as well as the location of the work site. This is around £34,632 – £93,600 sterling.

REPORTS TO: Managers/Supervisors
IMMEDIATE SUBORDINATE(S):
AUTHORITY: To stop and report any process or action on site where there is risk –
• to the safety of a person or persons
• of damage to property or equipment
• of impact on the internal and/or external environment.
• To refuse access and to ask to leave any unauthorised personnel on company premises
DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY (IN THE ABSENCE OF THE HOLDER OF THE POSITION) IF APPLICABLE
• Basic Scaffolders
• Intermediate Scaffolders
• Laborers
Qualifications (Trade, Tertiary, Secondary)
Holder of advanced scaffolding ticket
Driver’s License
Technical Skills, Business Skills (Computing, Trade)
Experience (Technical & Behavioral)
Minimum 5 years Scaffolding experience essential.
Key Accountabilities
Erect, modify and dismantle hung scaffolds (from tube, wire, ropes and chains)
Suspended scaffolds (swing stages boatswain’s chairs)
All types of Cantilevered hoists
Erect, modify and dismantle prefabricated scaffolding.
Bracket scaffolds
Cantilevered material hoists
Static line and safety nets
Ensure that scaffolding work processes comply with legislation & standards.
Ensure all work procedures, instructions & policies are adhered to.
Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe & responsible manner.
Carry out jobs as designated by supervisor/managers
