A FOUNDRY worker yesterday showed off a wage slip that paid him £2.3million by mistake - and told how he owned up immediately.
Adam Youngs, 35, was stunned to see £1.1million land in his account after tax - 550 times his £2,000 monthly average.
He said: "I read it as £1,100 to start, then realised it was £1.1million. I saw they had my overtime as £161,000 an hour, instead of £11. I went straight to payroll."
Adam, with turbine-blade makers Alcoa Howmet for 11 years, last month had a bank loan request to fund his April wedding rejected.
