I just returned from 2 week trip with this shower and would advise anyone not to give them a second thought. I never got paid and was owed almost £4000 , if anyone is daft enuff to go with them then u deserve all u get, and if they see this I would quite like to go to court with them.
 
I worked for them for over 2 years. Never had a problem. Good friends of mine have also and never had a problem. Have you rang them up and asked? Plus I have never known then pay £4000 for a 2 week trip. Do you have the figures correct. Are you a limited company? Are you on the Dutch system or UK Tax?

Not saying this has not happened to you. But never heard of it before.
 
I m telling you it has happened, why would I say it if I was lying ??? I was on £380 per day to run the job, me saying £4000 is being genorous to them. I am 100% right and if Iam wrong let them sue me. U may have been lucky mate but dont question my integrity, I have came on here as many do just to warn guys of the risks.

I came on here to say I have had no problem. And if you read where I edited you will see that. Workwise is an agency. Everyone knows the risks. Was it Harsco or Van dePanne you were contracted to?
 
Didnt mean to be offensive bud but you should understand the difficulty in trying to claim it back. I was working on a Heerema project and Harsco where also on there. I was employed without a sofi number and thats where the problem lies. I was employed illegally from the start but didnt know it. If anyone has any idea how to claim my wages I would be greatly appreciated.
 
Who was it you dealt with in Workwise Harvey? Its a minimum legal requirment to work having a sofie number. Did you work as a limited company?

I had my green card and I am not a limited company bud. I was employed on the books but just dont know where to turn for advice.
 
people get so funny on ere about not getn paid!! why?? we all love our job that much we do it for free!!!!!!!! well i do!!!!!!! holland ad a cracking world cup tho a.................
 
I was over aswell workin for Rene an never had a problem with money. If I were u bud I would sacrifice the cost of a flight an turn up at the office in Rotterdam. I have a feeling u will stand a far better chance when face to face with Rene. Good luck anyways

Harvey, try ring the tax office in Alkmaar, holland. They all speak English. Thats where you should have gone before you went out.
There is also a main office in Rotterdam, they may be able to help you out.

Am good Anthony, still @ stork bud they kept me busy ever since I started back. Had a few tempting offers norwiegian sector etc so will need to weigh my options up. How's u an where u workin? Good to hear from u. Strange one this with Workwise eh? They were always alright with me
 
Yes it is. There were with me also.

Im good pal. On for Pyeroy now. Just changed hats. Same platform.
Im a safety rep now on there. Studying my nebosh. Hsea next year hopefully.
