Im an advanced scaffolder with supervisor certificate and fancy working in the united arab emirates or the far east I like the idea of tax free money Any one got any agencys numbers or any advice much apreciated
 
hello mate, let me stop u right there, ive just come back from dubai, its not wat its cracked up 2 b , plus theres not much happening thats y i had to come home , i was supervising out there, if u want to know anything else get bak to me .
 
cheers mick any advice would be helpfull small world though the only answer i got was from some one with the same last name
 
working in the far east

a firm called NSS are sending men out to singapore,you could try them.

ring the head office on 01244 529080 and ask for COLIN BUTT

or try the dubai office on +971 6535 0056 and ask for WAYNE SMITH

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES yeh mate was out there around 2001 In abu dabi for a couple of years I was offshore on the umshiaf super complex excellent place,weather but money was not that good dont know what its like now, I got job through expatengineer.com sent a CV to them 3 months later got a job as scaffolding supervisor was nice.

SIMPLY NOT TRUE!!!

I have just been laid off by NSS - they have nowt doing I'm afraid, so no point phoning!
 
where were you at fat guy? kings cross i heard every1 apart 2 have been laid off from there.

times are bad
 
I was at a few sites and did a spell at King's Cross, but that job is almost up now. I think there are more than two left at Kings Cross.
 
I phoned nss and asked for colin butt paula the secretary said nothing doing but she has had 30 phone calls this week think she is wandering where everyone getting there info from...............???

the phone number was on the blog so any one looking for a job will be ringing cant fault them for trying i phoned and got told the job in shanghi was just finishing only a month left pity
 
Worked in Abu Dhabi on the formula 1 race track for 18 months mate,but work is drying up out there.
Abu dhabi is still busy but getting harder to get jobs as people are cutting back on expats , and Dubai is still totally fooked.

There is a job starting out in the desert called Ruis and there is some jobs advertised on the internet its going to be huge but its living on a camp and its starting to get into the mental weather mate.

bring on the sunshine ive got my notted hanky at the ready and a bottle of cream soada and a bucket and spade so if youve got a contact number it would be apreciated
 
I just googled it mate will have a look later today and post it and will keep my ears open, few of my mates are on about it that are still there mate so if i hear out i will post it for you.
 
Hello boys,

Been on this forum since back end of last year, great bunch of lads on here and alot of good ideas around!

I am an advanced scaffolder with Advanced inspectors ticket, offshore survival, offshore medical and passport to safety. Would love to hear more about the job in Ruis/uae. Any info would be much appreciated.
