I enquired into moving to NZ and have been emailed twice in a week if it is of interest to any hits on here...not for me really so here you go

Hi Aaron,

*

Thank you for the enquiry,

*

We are looking for advanced scaffolders for our current and forthcoming projects.

If you are under the age of 30 you can travel and work in NZ* for up to 12 months without a residency visa.

If you intend to longer than this period you will need to obtain a working visa. You would also need a working visa if you are over the age of 30.

You can get all the information regarding permitted length of stays and visa applications at

Immigration New Zealand.

Advanced scaffolders start rate is $20 per hour with the majority of our staff working 50 hours a week. This includes Saturday a.m.

All of our work is in the Auckland area.

We currently employ 2 experienced scaffolders form the UK.

*

If you need any more information you can contact me at this address.

*

Regards

*

John

At least £30 an hour? I think everyone on here would love to have the number for your contact in Oz, of you wouldn't mind posting it as you have so much valuable input to forum! Why not spread you wealth?

There are blokes over in Western Australia earning $3000 Aus per wk (1900 + Pounds)!

Australia and NZ are different countries. To compare the two is like comparing wages in UK and Albania.
It would be nice to hear more of your experience calv2607
