Whats up with the irish

Alright lads i never expected an irish lad to be so disliked in the uk.i have contacted so many companys and they dont want to know when they hear my accent,i have worked with many an english lad in ireland and they never had any problem.
 
its not you mate they dont want to talk to anyone these day....

On those Firms, with an 'Oirish' accent you'll be made a Manager within days, lol.
 
Haha,thats the one, told you that on one of your early threads Irishjay. A yorkie accent may be easier to pick up for you. Joking aside,its rough for a lot of people trying to find steady employment.

Welcome to the forum, even Magners scaffolding [an irish owned firm] are only employing eastern europeans, so i dont think its your accent
 
Magners is owned by Bill Leane , and no self respecting scaffolder would work for him Irish or otherwise
 
Im gonna ring them Monday and put on a foreign accent and see if i get a start, lol.

Doubt it's your accent mate, they're all very reluctant to take on at the moment. Keep looking, keep naggin for a job :)
