Talking about "squares" got me thinking about the different terminology used around the UK / world...

For example a 'structural transom' - sometimes called an "aberdeen"

So, what is your terminology for the following items...

Structural transom
Face brace
Ledger brace
A cluster of beams (spine beam)
A narrow scaffold (called a 'dolly' in London)
A spliced / lapped joint
A single coupler
A swivel coupler
A double coupler
A scaffold designer...who has put a load of gear in the job!...;)

plus any others you can think of...

In Australia a structual transom is called a transom whilst a tube supporting timber boards is called a putlog or putty. The scaffs were quite surprised when I told them putlog was derived from putting timbers into holes in structures many years ago.
Most of the other terms are the same and of course singles are called putty clips, doubles called 90s.
