Apparantely the lower of the two ladders is also on a board to the lower window cill as well.
 
And to think scaffs get yellow cards for not using steps !!!!

There are hundreds if not thousands of these jobs erected every day in the UK by unskilled idiots,that put profit above their health or safety and those of their employee's

Until the HSE prosecute and the courts levy very heavy fines the practice will continue

The HSE appear to be satisfied with walking around a few well regulated sites and pulling lads not on steps,or a couple of toe boards missing. :mad:
 
Health and safety dont come into it if its your property and your doing it yourself.
 
HSE Dont do nothing until theres an accident.
We all know this..
There jobs are to police as well as too investagate.
Though as a goverment run pile of crap which cost a mint and they do jack sh1t.

Its a crazy world, Hse are great, but goverment run rubbish, what do they do to stop all the tossers who call them self scaffolders . Nothing happens until theres an accident which is pethetic....
 
The thing that gets me with the HSE is:-

Why don't they give everyone a set way of doing everything on a construction site... They DO know everything and how it should be done, because if you do your job to the best of your ability and something unfortunately goes wrong and someone is hurt. They'll come to your site, tell you how you should have done it and then prosecute you......Simples....
