Havnt do a stretch yet mate but if I stay here much longer I may be visiting the porridge factory.

why don't you try and get site numbers for any nearby industrial sites? give them a ring and ask to be put through to whoever's doing the scaffolding on there. you could always look on capes website,they have jobs up on there.once you get on one of these jobs you'll meet people,make contacts and get a few phone numbers,it's how it works in this game.

probably a safer punt trying for that type of work where you're from as you've got quite a few firms that do industrial sites up your neck of the woods,interserve,project and pyeroy.even if you don't get offered brilliant money just treat it as a stepping stone to hopefully move onto something better.
