Coincidentally, I was just reading about the 28 miles of scaffolding that has now been removed from Tyntesfield after 2 years and someone on my twitter feed posted this link showing a time lapse video of the whole procedure!

Tyntesfield is revealed!
 
Maybe the Chinaman took it down on his own to get the money for the 10 houses.
 
i worked on there on and off over the last 2 years a write pain in the ass , my son was on there for the 2 years , some of the work had to be done by ten in the morning then you had to hope you got enough gear in your work area if not you had to do it the next day , all the material had to be forklifted down from the yard about a mile away , no access to the rear of the main house had to carry every thing out , done some birdcages in side over the main stairs everything had to be carried by two men , had hangers from the roof to access all the chimneys and for all the lead work on the main roof , the main roof was a 40mtr span and the other roof was 42mtr with other smaller roofs , the chapel was done in tube and fitting and vanthiel all freestanding
