just wondering if any of you lads have used this "tuff coat" stuff for a temporary roof and how it worked out.

yeh we use it all the time down here , have had a few problems when first started there is a knack to it , we use the thinner gauge plastic as it bonds easier , have used several different suppliers over the years

Used it on plents of facade scaffoldsincluding envirowrap and SCA. We use kadar on temporary roofs id like to see method statement on how this can be secured to a temporary roof........... are you using the supplier to install?

been installing ourselves and have all the method statements ect and RAMS required , hot work permits ect.
Save a fortune on the larger roofs in materials and labour
PM me your email address and il send over to whoever wants to look

Used to use envirowrap for a while but they are so dear charging 9.00 pm2 and the material cost is approx 1.00 per m2 so u can see the saving to be had

Tufcoat also do a one day induction at there premises for any one interested
