Morning members , I have been asked to provide detailed procedure details to build a small tower in the pit of a lift shaft does any body on here have a PDF file I could copy /amend to make my rams look more professional ? Many thanks in advance.
 
Well for a start, DO NOT use 21's as standards!
A few years back whilst working on Prestwich Hospital, some tit did.

I have been waiting for 35 years to get the chance to build a 8' tower in a lift shaft. It would be the first one of mine that wont fall over.
 
if your going to erect a tower all the way up.... you need to know what clearance will be needed for lift runners and counter weight ( unless its on a hydroponic ram) ask the lift fitter for a drawing showing details
And best to set it out with 8ft standards on screw jacks in case the fitters want you to cut out the bottom...then use butts in the corners on all lifts instead of bracing....

Hydroponics is something else entirely ;)
 
Thanks for replays I asked a friend who runs Hertel Norfolk he just advised tg20 13 and assume person reading the method statement has never ever seen or heard of scaffoling treat all like retards . Put the square peg in the square hole !!
 
I think the Tg design suite has a generic liftshaft dwg in it

:laugh: struck a riser today from the basement to 2nd floor fooking 16s!!!! Basterds chained up the gear the *****!!!!!' Lol
