Hello there ...

My name is Matt and I am currently working as a yard man for Harsco(SGB) for the past 4 years and I am looking for some company which is looking for somebody with good experiences with scaffolding equipment ... Basically I want to find a company which will help me and train me to become a scaffodler ... I do have good understanding of scaffolding ... like I said I have been in this game for the past 4 years ... If there is somebody who know something, that will be great ... And anyway I think that the best way will be to do it by myself ... pay for my part 1 and then try luck somewhere ... no license no luck
 
I am from Slovakia ... Why are u asking? Are u thinking that it will be a problem to find a job ? Or? Anyway I am living in Uk nearly six years ...

hi mate .... I actually did tried, but no luck ... They like got back to me that they dont do any training ... Wired ...., Thats why I started to looking for another company... Or just do it by myself ... somehow
 
I would imagine that they are taking scaffolders on but only with tickets ...
The time is hard but it depend in wich part of Uk you are. And sgb dont have any contract branch in Wales. The nearest one is in Bristol ... And they dont have any good name on the sites ... They just living in past ... When there where just the only one around ...
 
scaffolders are finding it hard to find work them selfs mate, helps alot if you know someone in the game to get you in, just keep trying, manufacture a c.v based around scaffolding and your knowledge regarding it. Google all the scaffolding firms big and small and email them your details.
 
Hi mate ... what U think Would it be a different if I did have Scaffolding Basic (Part 1) ?? I just found today a training center where I can go and do this course even knowing that it will make a huge hole in my wallet as is not cheap ... ?? mm?
