Hello lads starting with a firm in January that only really use quickstage system any recommendations on best hammers and tools around; also only really done t+f for 3 years is it easy to adapt to system cheers

Take no notice of that HSWT with the spanner handle , I always use a 7lb sledge hammer , it's a bit heavy to carry around but at least you know the wedges are tight

I did think a spanner handle would be a bit small to use specially to make wedges tight

What You Will Need Is A Kwikstage Hammer, A Sevensixteenth Spanner And Most Important A Good Magnetic Level, Set Off At The Highest Ground Point With A Sliding Ledger And You Will Be Ok, Iv Used Kwikstage On And Off For Over Thirty Years And Its A Much Maligned System, It does What It Says On The Tin, If You Pay Attention And Learn You Will Be Ok.

A Kwikstage Podger Hammer Is All Right, But After A Wee While You Will Get Sore Hands With The Vibration Cause There Not Heavy Enough And Also Some Of Them Are Too Short, Kwikstage Will Rock About (Same As Any Scaffold) If You Dont Brace It. Dont Put Ledger Bracing In The Brickies Will Love You, Chap Your Peins And Use Sway (Facade) Bracing, And When You Are Tying Always Catch Both Legs On The Tie, The Hse ARE Really Clamping Down On System Scaffolds That Only Have The Inside Leg Tied.
