Seems scaffs have to have all sorts of tickets to be considered for a job erecting scaffold. Mad aint it. Never even heard of a pts before.
What tickets are some of you's holding to get a job,and who pays?

P1 and P2 obviously , then Kwikstage card , offshore survival and MIST training which was another suspect add on for offshore , which is **** for guys entering offshore as i believe they pay hundreds for it , whereas ex. personnel get it for £65.

next is PTS and the CCSNG and then maybe LUL , what the **** is LUL ,

i pay Fred, ALWAYS .

Unbelievable stleger. Be interesting to get a list, scaffs carry enough of a load already.
Use to be spanner bubble tape and chalk

im sure slav80 has about everything going , he has it at the bottom of his posts , a lot of things , but if u want the big money it has to be done , and its tax deductable so not too bad.

As I never had tickets just seems a different world nowdays,Specially when I see some of the ***** wages on offer.

No Marra, Swing the spanna occasionally, but its a young guns job. As my profile says, I site manage when the opp comes along. I need to post some photos of recent scaff jobs. You will laugh your cobs off at the last one I done. Ikram eat yur heart out lol

pasma, part 1 nd safety passport only for me fred mate.

part 2 on the 7th.

then again im just a lowly part 1 ;)

Horses for courses I say Fred.
I have done a few in my time and will no doubt do more.
There is no law states the need to have a cisrs card to erect scaffolding it is more to do with insurance.scaffolds need to be erected and men need to work on them so if you deem your reputation worthy of the task then good on you.was the job completed without harming anyone if yes well job done then mate

Nothing wrong with that Markus. Your way above me,Wont be long before your advanced. In the good old days,I worked for Stephen&Carters,Kensal rise, Sgb Wembley, a string of other companies in Oz and NZ Thats when scaffs were topdogs in the building. All work signed off by supers. Never see any scaff fall or injure themselves. These cants nowdays just out to rip scaffs off with forced courses.

as you will know yerself fred the citb card was brought in because of a collapse in london in which a diplomats family member was killed/or a diplomat(half pissed canny remember correctly)
is it plumb,is it fully boarded for the workers,do they have proper access---then it was built by a scaffolder
i have worked offshore in power stations were i feck about for an eternity so the user doesnt have to over stretch a miniscule and i have erected a base fram hanger on a barge with 2 boards and a fillipino in a harness and lifejacket because it had to be done
