Thieves steal thousands of pounds of scaffolding

SCRAP yard owners have been put on alert after thousands of pounds worth of scaffolding was stolen near Towcester last month.
This week Northants appealed for witnesses following the theft which happened sometime between 9pm and 11.15pm on Friday, October 14. It is believed four thieves entered a property in Pattishall and stole around £9,000 worth of scaffolding and used a large white truck to take it way.
A police spokesman said: “Officers are keen to speak with any witnesses and are asking scrap yards to be on alert. The scaffolding is security marked with securitex paint in a bright pink colour.”
Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
