Hi has anyone heard anything about this job as had few calls from salamis about it dono if bad turnaround of men or just starting to man up ??
 
Im on there mate, Freon replacement project. I think they were after men for nights. 4x12hrs 3 days off. Days is 11 days on 3 days off, 10's.
The job is run like a prison camp by amec. Bell to bell
 
They are after men cause they have suspended 21 scaffs cause they took a saftey stand down over two amec employees dismantled and erected a scaffold
 
Lads have been sacked now. Well in to the lads who started whilst they were on suspension, you really helped their cause. What a great little community we have

That's a good and fair point mate but did the blokes actually know what transpired before hand??

If you were in the same situation and didn't know what occured would you turn down work mate?
 
There were 12 lads that started on the pretence of a night shift who were reccommended boys by the lads onsite and when we turned up they got suspended we looked right cun ts i tell ya but then they started more men after that even blokes that knew so i jacked in i wanted fuk all to do with anything like that my names not gonna be mud too many years ahead of me for that

Fair play to you foz,dint think you'd take the **** flying about on there,they sacked me the *******
 
Really horrible situation on there felt awrful every day on there felt like i could actually earn some good money for 6 months then to get that deal made me think bollox to this
i was looking for work while i was on there but in the end had to jack without a start elsewhere couldnt handle it no more the gaffer basically said if ya not happy then fuk off lol thats what type of mentallity is in charge
what you gonna do now then linscaff?
 
I take my hat off to you foz, at least it shows there is still some decent lads out there. You lads who started before owt happened did nothing wrong and can sleep easy in my eyes.
Time to get rid of this hangover and start looking for work i think
