Does everybody and every company use the step all the time?

I have never used one and have only seen photos. Looks like a souped up version of the old beer crates tied together.
Looks like it would be easier to run a dummy lift in then strip it out after the handrails are in.

5fts across the standards and a few boards lapped across, easy peasy. None of this up down up down bolllox.

Would depend on your standard spacing to do it old school. Just as easy to sling in an inside tube and tranny and board it nicely. These safety bods don't like lapped boards these days.

Yep we use them on every job (pretty much)

I don't see what all the fuss is about, if you use them properly they do the job of keeping you safer and the method of work is easy once you're used to it.

as markus says f,eck the step weve had the super trainning last year as with the advanced guard rail its died a death any firm that does use it cant make any money or they must bang a massive price in!! things do need to move forward but this two pieces of sh!t need to go the only people that benefit these items are the people that invented it let them rust in the yard were they belong!!!
