Lazy so and so takes the weekend off.

Admin is short for administrator or site founder. He claims to be very busy through the week answering all our questions and searching for interesting snippets off information about our industry but I have a feeling he spends more time away from the coal face than Scaffy. As such, you very rarely see him over the weekend and will probably not enlighten us with the info you seek till Monday.

That's ok Paddy, you might be good at maths but I never got to 1000 posts without having a gift to state the bleeding obvious. Or to look at it another way, the guy asked a question and went home happy, or even another way.....piss off.

3 cases of Amber nectar and 3 Pizzas for a Fiver, wor lass might see me coming down the stairs about 11 o clock on Sunday night:sick:

That is a bloody bargain.

Believe it or not, I've never been to an Asda's before! (Or a Morrissons for that matter)

in bishop auckland we already had a big asda store, a big morrisons store then 2 weeks ago a big sainsburys an big tescos opened up , so now there is a major price war going on.

if you shop at morrisons 5 times before xmas get a voucher then do a 6th shop xmas week hand voucher over get £30-00 off your 6th shop

so asda done basically the same but offering vouchers worth £40-00 to spend in shop

they even have advertising trucks driving around town

but like a true scaff im not interested in solids its just the liquid give aways im interested in , and if they keep this war up till xmas they will be giving booze away by dec 23rd

I totally agree mate, however, i wish they would also have a fuel war on there forecourts, the price of fuel now is even higher than when the strikes were on and now nothing is ever mentioned, bit like the utility bills going up and up , nowt said.

totally agree paddy but i didnt realise the government had been so crafty as to get the supermarkets on their side , sell us cheap drink so we were all too pie eyed to notice the fuel an energy bills going up,

the crafty barstewards :D

just in case no one knows about this site Comparison sites for gas & electricity, car insurance & more | uSwitch.com its a good site for utility bill comparisons and stuff
