ELXP – Scaffold Foreman

Key Objectives:

The ETAP life extension project has two phases the on-shore planning phase and the off shore execution phase. The role of the Scaffold Foreman is to support the management team with the selection, planning and delivery both direct CAPE work scopes and support to the third party vendors.

Main Activities:

General

The Scaffold Foreman is required to lead by example and be familiar with the contents of and ensure compliance with the company CMS and all relevant QA/QC procedures within. The Scaffold Foreman will be expected to remain up to date with legislation and good industry practices relating to company services.

Planning Phase – October 2015

Survey and arrange for surveys to be completed (Desk top or Platform) to review the identified work scope. Collate the information to create accurate estimates which can be incorporated into the Job Cards. Develop work packs in accordance with the agreed milestones to allow work to be executed safely and efficiently off shore. Review of current practices and considering innovative solutions assist in the development of improved working practices to obtain greater operational efficiency off-shore. Work in accordance with the pre-execution schedule to ensure agreed milestones and achieved. Ensure all tracking tools and bookies boards are reviewed and up dated. Providing material take-off’s and ensuring procurement and delivery meet the agreed schedules. Review and develop competency requirements and liaise with internal training and recruitment to ensure correct selection of off-shore operatives liaise with Project departments and take charge of current offshore work load ( Mungo ALQ Etap ALQ)

Execution Phase October- July 2016

Responsibility for effective planning, operating to the agreed plan and reporting progress against plan. Liaise with planning function to ensure Cape activities updated and in line with P6.

Maintain key interfaces with client representatives encouraging effective working relationships.

Liaise closely with commercial focal point to ensure accurate cost management in line with the agreed estimates and invoicing processes.

Responsible for the day to day management of the offshore workforce through line leadership. On-going performance management of their teams addressing unacceptable or inadequate performance, implementing disciplinary action as appropriate in line with Cape HR policy and procedures. Monitor competency levels of the workforce and action where necessary. Co-ordinating material movements to ensure the safe and efficient working of the project scope.

To ensure that the Company’s commitments are executed in a compliant, timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications/Experience:

Demonstrable experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry or Fabric Maintenance. Advanced CISRS Card CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspection preferred IOSH or NEBOSH or SMSTS accreditation Preferred . IT literate. Knowledge of fabric maintenance and Scaffolding/access activities. To hold or have an ability to gain an offshore survival and medical.

Liaises With:

Client Representatives / Stakeholders Operations Manager Project Manager Fabric Maintenance Manager Commercial Focal Point.

Responsible For:

Delivering Safe and Efficient Access solutions to the ELXP project both in the planning and execution phases.
