60 guys getting kicked off the project now and 60 sat at home so I douht there starting lads at the mo.

I have to say lads stork done ok since I joined them kept me busy an I had a good run now. All 3 of big players in North Sea are the same imo bilfinger, cape and stork. When the works their usually durin summer months they man up and come November inevitebaly they down man. Some land it lucky and if there willing to do Christmas get kept on and the other unfortunate lads usually get called back 1st in March/April when things pick up a bit. You can easily make £60k (gross pay) on a 2 on 2 off rota where I am atm this includes 4 weeks paid holiday so you work 11 trips (22weeks of the year!) Feeds my family and keeps the wolves from the door. I heard throught the great vine they do have a few projects in the pipeline as well as existing platforms undergoing a lot of maintenance so get the CVs in lads an pester them like feck on the phone.
