Thinking off starting on my own anyone got any ideas on which would be best option truck wise 7.5 ton lorry or transit flatbed??

Transit flatbed or VW crafter/Merc sprinter and some updated springs.

I've got an 02 MAN 7.5t for sale with the valuable orange disc if you've got a grand. Be quick though.

A few 16ft sprinters with aftermarket air suspension is the way forward.

It's not.

It's gone anyway.

Was wonders if you got a half back or if any one else does what sort off job can you get on it think about getting 1? Cheers

Most firms will have a 1/2 back within their fleets not requireing a operators licence theyre indispensable for small jobs & pick ups & material transfers - many years ago I worked for a local company who ran thier buisness with 6 cabstars lol but tbh with a laden weight of 1.2t it wont take long to outgrow it if its your only vechile - I'm looking at a 5.2t iveco daily @ the mo but the downside is it will need a o licence & tacho so thb just as well put another 7.5t on the road instead.

I know someone who had there o licence revoked just because they did not inform them they had gone ltd, and we have now got to sorted ours out as moved yards so can not run lorry at min till it is all sorted, which will be about another month already been 2 months

You should be able to work off an interim licence - just ask the traffic commission
