Looking for a 3-handed local gang to do 2 days maximum on my house in Tintern, NP16 6.

9x5 scaffold needs taking down from one end and putting up on the other. Must be qualified with references.

Have got £500 to spend, how it is chopped up can be up to you. I am a private individual so you will have to carry your own insurance.

Do you own the scaffold equiptment? I wouldn't touch it unless I had owners consent. I don't think you will get any 3 handed gang to work 2 days and insure your scaffold for that price. I think you may require some Albanians.
 
3 men for two days, must have references and insurance for five ton? Good luck with that.:laugh:
 
Can see why the blokes that put it up fuked you off, get on it yourself and put the video on here and I will give you 500 quid for not being a complete tw@t for a day.....or two :D
 
Another fine member of joe public who doesnt fully understand the full expertise of our skillset & the renumiation required to exercise that skillset.

Tbh if its ur scaffold ur required to have it insured not the guys that erect it on ur behalf ..& as for referances you only need to see their tcket, theyre putting up a lump of steel not babysitting ur kids..could be a nice little cash in hand job for a cpl of guys leading up to the xmas break.
But do urself a favour & look after the guys with pleny of tea & bacon butties & 2 guys will prob av in done in a day for ya...merry xmas

But if three men cant strip and re-erect a tower in a morning they are not worth 500 pound a month between them.

Are they ?

Fair point, though it was the references and insurance point that got on my tits. Is it a cash job or does he need a UTR no? which would be subject to a 20% tax deduction, which equates to. . . £400

Just a thought....could it be a set up...i.e. gaffa of a firm getting someone to scaffold his house and then report them for not wearing their ppe or erecting the job safely. Its been known.
 
Whats the actual size if it's 9m long by 5m high I'll do it for 500 lol !!! Not bad for days work
