Just paid one of my few & far between facebook visits & I came across an article on Scaff mag about the walkout at ratcliffe & other places in support of this pay dispute, there are actually so called scaffolders saying sack the lot of them.
Although I'm not currently at ratcliffe I still have plenty if good mates there & I should be back in January..ish. These boys have clearly never worked in the industrial sector & have no comprehension of some of the Shiite we go through on a daily basis.
Hopefully next year some of these muppets will get a start & have a clearer understanding that if these men don't stand up for OUR RIGHTS then their own positions could become a lot worse! Also I'll have a nice fresh arseholee to store my spare spanner!!:D
 
I would treat these reports with a pinch of salt, you might find the so called source was actually gang raped with a podger by a scaff.
 
here here karl the guys that went out went out to defend the NAECI AGREEMENT,this is under attack by the major players due to the fact that it defends LOCAL LABOUR,AND HAS MADE IT NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO SHIP IN FOREIGN LABOUR without giving them the same rights as the local and travelling brits IE leave and travel time on their leave weekends,as well as the same rates.so it basically makes no sense to bring them over when you have a workforce already here
