Triple guard rail on working lifts and double on non working lifts and double landyards mandatory.

Your thoughts fellas?

I can't find anything about this on the web, is it true

Why is this not on the NASC website, if it's true, they are still pushing sg4:10

I have it on good authority that fixing a trampoline below the job will be mandatory. I'm training myself up as an installation specialist to beat the inevitable rush next year.

I would like to think you were correct Bobby but I don't recall the client paying any more for the introduction of the second guard rail or the scaffolders guard rails?

Not sure if it will come in or not but from memory it has been used offshore for more than 30 years that I can remember!!

regards
Alan

Sounds like a load of w*ank to me..... no guard rail lower than 950 and with no gap wider than 470 is the rules we all know. Unless the minimum gap has been lowered then it stays as it is.

Does this apply to 10 foot high lifts erected of the handrail , and how will this affect our much loved and cherished south London Leaner ?
Next it will be orange boiler suits and rigger boots are mandatory ,
FFS the lads are only getting used to not wearing trainers :wondering:

I have it on good authority Phil that as well as the trampoline, black 3 stripe sambas will be mandatory when the revised guidance finally comes out in 2017. Don't know where you heard that shit3 about the orange boiler suits, everybody knows that they will be blue. ;)
