Firstly apologies if this thread has been put in the wrong area. I’m new to this forum.
I’m a Director at Ricochet, one of the UK’s leading independent television production companies. We make a broad range of factual programmes across many broadcasters, from pure documentaries like Channel 4’s Born to be Different, which has been following six children with disabilities for the last decade, through to large scale award-winning formats like Supernanny, (ch4) and Andrew Marr’s Mega Cities (BBC1). We also make the science series Food Unwrapped (ch4) and Cowboy Builders (ch5). A full portfolio of our output is available on our website: Ricochet Television- TV that changes people's lives
Channel Patrol is an observational documentary series following the lives of those that use the English Channel for pleasure, those that earn a living from it, and most importantly those who keep it safe. The first 10 part series ran every week day from the 24th of November for two weeks at 11.30am. As it’s for BBC Daytime, it is warm in tone and aimed at giving viewers an insight into the workings of one of the busiest waterways in the world.
We are looking to hear from scaffolds who are working out on the English Channel and would be interested to hear more about their activities for potential inclusion in the show. Does anyone know any companies that currently have operations on this stretch of water?
For more info on the series or to chat about your activities out at sea pleas get in touch.
