Thinking of going on price work never done it before and would like to know what the best way to work out what have earnt prices not get shafted dont know how it works and would like to know say for instance if you put up 21ft 2 lifts boarded and handrailed would would you get for that just an example if some one could help would be grateful

Used to be 30% to tax man
30% to worker
40% to the company
so if the company were chargeing £22pm -youd get circa £7pm....
6m x 2 lifts =12m x 7 =£84 - tax @ 20% means youd make £67

Or the company would give you a set price per item such as the ful lift or stack or the other way is hours - in such that a set hour rate of say 8.50 against a chimney stack of say 23 hrs giving you £200 less rax

On site basic independent scaffold we get £5 a linear metre 2nd and 3rd lifts and £8.50 a metre base outs and tips, that is up and down most weeks earn at least £700

depeds on how the firm work it out some charge per meter at say £5 per meter per lift up to 3 lift except the base lift maby get 7 8 £ per lift on base4 .after that i have no idea wht it it per meter per lift after 3 lifts but it does go up. some old school pay per standered ie £3 per standard and 1£ per flight of boards. i know a firm that was paying £8 per standerd on a bird cage internally on a building site and you had the option of system (AlYHER) OR TUBE IF LAYHER ITS £2 OER SWIN GOT YA HAmmer knock £2 knock £2 kncok £2 lol sorry if this makes no sence bottle of voddy and a creat ahahahahahahaha
