Up to £58k basic + £6.6k car allowance / company car + 25 days holiday (with 8 stats) + + 25 days holiday + 6% contributary pension scheme + 3 times death in service
My client is looking for a Regional Manager for their Access Divison and someone who comes from a very stong scaffolding background. You must have experience in managing full P&L across various sites and ideally have a formal HSE qualification and experience of SG400 regulations.
As the Regional Operations Manager for the North East and North Yorkshire areas, you will be responsible for 6 contract managers & will be reporting to the Access Operations Director, you will have shared responsibility and accountability for the overall performance of:
Access Safety performance within your sub-section of the region.
Access profitability within your sub-section of the region.
Access Business Development within existing & new operational areas.
Compliance with company procedures within your sub-section of the region.
Service delivery on sites within your sub-section of the region.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Within your sub-section of the region you will provide effective leadership to your Access Location managers by promoting the highest standard of business practice, the company culture, values and ethics through your own behaviour.
Expected to coordinate monthly Managers meetings to ensure focus among the general/operational managers on company objectives.
Act as the main coordinator of commercial information for your team of general/operational managers ensuring that the reporting needs of the Regional Manager are met.
Ensure that Objectives and Processes are developed and followed at all levels of your business unit to ensure the overall company objectives are achieved.
KEY TASKS
Support the site managers within the region, providing operational, commercial and pastoral support when required.
Ensure effective implementation and communication of Management systems and processes throughout the region, particularly in respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment.
Assist in the monthly production of the GM and Cost Revenue reports for submission to the Operations Manager.
Develop all sites to maximise profitability whilst maintaining high levels of service delivery.
Assist site managers with personnel issues when required.
Support the Operations Director and Business Development team with Tender meetings when required – provide operational guidance and viability assessment.
Ensure staffing levels are met, including future needs and contingency.
Understand and achieve statutory requirements for activities within your business units.
Organise and schedule materials and labour to ensure successful service delivery across the region.
Understand and apply commercial financial principles. View issues in terms of costs, profits, markets and added value.
