SCAFFOLDING FIRM 58k-fall-payout

whats the score with this. anyone got any more info. been going on for 11 years? what was the injury? serious injury? in my mind is more than just a couple broken bones. (broken back, broken neck)? worth more than a poultry 58K, especially from a company as big as SGB.
 
I see this story is dated 30th June 2006, any reason why its being posted now. I do wonder how the scaff is though - any news how he is keeping to date?
