From Aug 1997 to Apr 2010 Worked On Board and Offshore In Keppel Offshore & Marine (Tuas). A Leading Shipyard, New Building, Conversion & Repairing, in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Understand PE drawing
Conduct tool box meeting to supervisors & workers on daily basis.
Close monitoring while erecting of scaffold works
Inspect and Certify scaffold works to meet current requirements
Perform project control and progress monitoring for the project(s) designated.
Monitor Productivity Man-hours for each activity
Monitor Contractors Manpower supply.
Develop project progress report format for client and internal management
Develop Man-hours histogram for project
Prepare Weekly and Monthly project progress report for client and project team.
Maintain and Update schedule during project execution and highlight potential delays to project manager.
Assist project manager in the preparation and negotiation on contract variation.
Identify Critical Activities on schedule and highlight to project management team.
Liaise with engineering team on preparation of PPS (Plan Progress Schedule).
Liaise with section managers and cost controller for assigning of cost, time and resources to the schedule.
Review and update procedures related to scaffolding and lifting of equipments.
Attend audit meeting or audit sessions in the event of any external audit for scaffolding.
Prepare Close up report after completion of Project.
Investigate accident or incident on site and produce report to client & management.
Conduct monthly safety meeting with scaffold contractors & yard scaffold officers.
Conduct scaffold meeting to meet current legislation.
Coat and Estimate the job for Yard from client
Prepare & brief on Risk Assessment to all yard scaffold personal.
