Scaffolding Estimator
Mercer Scaffolding - Longfield DA3
£40,000 - £60,000 a year
£40,000 - £60,000 starting salary plus other benefits. Permanent position.
Offer negotiable and based on experience, skills and qualifications.
Mercer Scaffolding are recruiting an Estimator with the primary role of preparing quotations to help secure new business. Reporting directly to Senior Management.
Main Duties include:
To prepare itemised quotations and calculate prices for new job enquiries and tenders, presented in a professional manner.
To meet company target response times for pricing new work.
To ensure quotations remain industry competitive, whilst meeting profitability targets.
To work from a schedule of rates but also be confident when pricing more bespoke scaffolding items.
To utilise measurements and any other relevant information provided by customers, through their drawings, schedule and other associated documentation.
To support our Contracts Managers and other team members in meeting their contract objectives.
To reduce the workload burden on other team members by working quickly, accurately and efficiently.
Candidates will need:
Valuable Experience in the scaffolding industry.
Excellent IT skills including Excel, Adobe and other Microsoft office applications.
To be results driven by nature.
A growing sense of commercial awareness.
Excellent attention to detail.
Confidence when liaising with clients.
Interpersonal and communications skills.
