About the Job Brief Outline:
My client, a leading scaffolding contractor, with a number of regional offices across the UK, is looking for an experienced estimator/business development manager for their busy Scotland office
About the Client:
My client is leading multi-disciplined scaffolding contractors who undertake prestigious projects nationwide and have built up an excellent reputation over a number of years. They operate across all industry sectors with a main focus on industrial projects
About the Role:
* A key role in the bid process, managing the bid team and helping to secure new projects
* Co-ordinating the Technical / Commercial submissions on a wide range of projects
* Writing estimating proposals and technical submissions
* Liaising with Directors creating a strong working unit
* Make field visits to investigate local conditions as requested by the bidding team
* Making sure that the company are competitive when tendering for business
* Helping in the growth and development of the business
* Pricing new projects
* Developing business and winning new scaffolding contracts
* Overseeing labour force and making sure jobs run smoothly
About the Candidate:
* Able to help with the growth of the business
* Great communicator and strong with paperwork
* Good main contractor contacts
* Have current client relationships that can be utilised to win new business
* MUST have an in depth knowledge of the scaffolding industry
* You MUST come from an estimating background, ideally with business development experience
* You will be willing to work in a dual role
