DESCRIPTION: Candidates must have scaffolding general knowledge and detailed understandings for OSHA and BS Standards with OSHA Certificate.

I just KB'd the job yesterday.
Money is £6K a month, 58 hour work week with £20 an hour for overtime. so your looking at £7K a month.

They are looking for 2 engineers, 1 will go in January and the other one will stay until contract is finished.
Rotation is terrible: 4 months on and 2 weeks off.

Not a good rotation for working in south-east asia.

The contract is for 3 months for one guy then around a year for the other guy as their will be Two guys initially mobilizing out there.

They wanted me to go out on the 2nd October.
I know a few of the Japanese guys from the QCS project in Qatar.
Anyone going out there beware the japs are very hard work and you will be overseing about 500-600 TCN scaffs and will get it in the neck if there is any scaffolding related incidents.
 
wish i had the qualifications 4 this job !! Only part 1 scaffolder so got no chance !!
I'm looking for a job with 11months on & 1 month off 2 get away from our lass haha
Any Ideas ?? lol

I have done a lot of work with the Japs and they think nothing of getting you out of bed in the middle of the night.There are also language difficulties. This job is on a coal fired power station not a bridge thank f**k

yeah, well the conditions on the last bridge the brits built for the Fookers weren't that good either, were they!
