New to the forum so just wondering if you can give me some advice and info.
I know scaffolding is a skilled trade hence why I am not attempting it, as I will be working on it and dont want it to topple down!
Basically I will be doing a DIY Loft conversion at home and need scaffolding on the outside to lift all the Wood and Materials directly into the house.
I have estimated that it will take around 3 months to finish.
I live in Yorkshire and own a Semi Detached house,
Scaffolding would need to go around the side of the property and run to the back. (gabel end conversion and dormer conversion at rear)
I have two options...
Option1
Can any one estimate how much 1 months rent is for the scaffolding?
I know it has so many diffrent variables! but its just an estimate!
(i will contact local firms closer to the start of the build for additional estimates)
Option2
Buy the scaffolding on ebay (yes i know what your thinking) and then pay a scaffolder to come and install it for me.
What is the going rate for employing a scaffolder?
at a guess, how much scaffolding do i need!
