IT was a bit chaotic on Hanson road after scaffold from the G60 work site collapsed onto the neighbouring building.
Nobody was injured when the scaffold buckled down onto Gladstone Mariner apartment's this afternoon.
The building sustained minimal damage but the owner Peter Petersen was just happy to hear nobody was hurt.
All current tenants at the executive apartment were relocated.
Marshal Anderson from Hutchinson Builders said safety is of upmost important.
"There appears to be very minimal damage to the property but it will cost time and money to repair," he said.
The job has since been shut down and investigations will be undertaken tomorrow into how best to dismantle the scaffold.
The safety of the worksite is currently being evaluated and workplace health and safety are compiling a report set to be complete next week.

Oh Dear me...Luck seems to have played a part here, thank goodness no one was hurt, but as an old scaffolder, note there are no braces on the scaffold nor any ties to the building, and no staggered standards....Seems the building in the back ground is suffering from the same lack of care or attention....Makes you wonder what is happening in this town...hello WPHS!!!!!!!!!
