scaffolding a small curve

On a small splay or tight angle I would fix ledgers off clips with checks as the boards sit flatter & cause less of a trip hazard!! I know that you are supposed to use towers & doubles but I do not see this as a better way of doing splays.

But I would fix the handrails off doubles to reverse the case of load bearing fittings etc & sometimes put a check on the top ledger. No danger of pulling apart then!!

Maybe not separate towers but definitely break the top lift and install the lap boards first then put an Aberdeen in below to support them. Lot's of different ways but that seems to work for us.

seperate towers and tie tubes under the ledgers and on the handrails - or should be as design!

Use Cuplok Mate, Did Gas Tanks And Keyhole Shapes Without Breaking The Scaffold.
