CRB checked/Scottish Disclosure checked Scaffolders required in Bolton.

Can I ask why a scaffolder would have a CRB? And from what I gather, you need one for each venue you work in and really your employer should be applying for it with you/ for you?
 
You would have a CRB check if you have worked in a school etc...Due to the job starting next week, there would not be enough time to get a CRB check in time for this job. I don't have a current CRB check for the venue the job is for... CRBs are all a nonsense anyway.

As I said, you were supposed to have one for every venue you work in, not for a particular council or borough.

However now its now called DBS Disclosure and Barring Service. Things may have changed and you certainly want to be aware of the varying charges if you do apply for your own.

I'm not trying to be difficult btw, but it really is an employer's duty to get these documents for their workers.
 
I agree Rosie I had a Scottish disclosure last year for a job in kings cross it was a medical centre ( well will be once it's build lol) and I asked why it was needed and got told its because there's a lot of animal protesters that are looking to damage the site!!!!! They had top security on the door, we had to wear hi vizs with codes on it well ott IMO still laugh now about that

In truth I won't be doing a crb or DBS again it's great if it's to get in Buckingham palace, MI6 or the playboy mansion as it's interesting but there mostly for prisons and shlt like that
