Seven to appear in court after fight in Butlin’s in Bognor Regis

Seven men will appear in court on Wednesday, May 23, after a fight at Butlin’s in Bognor Regis.
The males, all from North Kent, have been charged with affray and are due to appear on bail at Chichester Magistrates’ Court.
Craigh Whittam, 27, a scaffolder, of Gravesend and Andrew Wood, 29, a scaffolder, of Gravesend, have been charged only with affray.
Daniel Asbury, 27, an air conditioning engineer, of Northfleet, has also been charged with two offences of common assault.
Scott Robinson, 28, a carpenter, of Northfleet, has also been charged with one offence of common assault.
Robert Green, 34, a director, of Gravesend, has also been charged with causing GBH.
Sam Hedges, 28, a scaffolder, of Northfleet, has also been charged with possessing cocaine.
And Farai Mutepfa, 27, a scaffolder, of Swanscombe, has been charged with causing ABH.
They were among 13 people arrested after police were called to a brawl at Butlin’s about 12.20am on November 5 after a report of several assaults. Six people were taken to hospital as a result of the incident.
Charges have not been brought against the other six individuals arrested after consultation by the police with the Crown Prosecution Service.
