Hi all

I am a recruitment business and i am looking for 3 scaffolders for a project in Magna Park, Lutterworth, Leicestershire. It is due to start tomorrow for a couple of weeks. You need to be CISRS ticketed and live within travel distance to the job as there is no digs available. The pay is £11.50 per hour CIS. Please give me a call on 07875 598393 if you are interested. I know its not a great rate but the client are scrwewing us to the wall with the rates due to the VAt increase.

Its just £12.00 for advanced mate. The rates are really tight on this im afraid but never the less i still need to try to fill it.

Good luck davidstevens. Maybe if you raise the rates and take a little less you will fill it a bit quicker.

Advanced scaffolder £96.00 a day, for an 8 hour shift.

VAT has only gone up 2.5% mate!

So it's costing the client a whopping £2.40 a day extra in VAT contributions. (Plus whatever your cut is)

Gimme a break....

As you know David the VAT increase has nothing to do with the rates. any VAT the client charges is offset at the end of the Quarter against the VAT they have paid out, so i'm afraid your talking complete ********!

more of a case of 3 or 4 Agencies squabbling over the work and cutting the rates to win the job!

I'll go but you need to be looking at £150 a day anything less is an insult:(
 
how is it these ******* agencys only wont to pay peanuts, they must think we are monkeys .
go to rent a **** you might find one there.
