well since we started our little campaign of demoralising the agencies on here not many dare to advertise their bare faced cheek of thrupence an hr low paid rates the to55ers are on the sliding scale for scaffolders and I the new year I hope every scaff and his dog is not working

Agreed ssc. The last few weeks theres been more slagging off of these scummy agencies. Theres been less posts as well, but it wont stop them completly ssc but will certinley make them think about the putrid wages there offering.
 
You never know 80ty do ya know what agencies remind me of locus they destroy everything back in the early 90s my brother is a long term hgv driver and he was on 50k a year and every penny was earnt due to his long hrs these feckers got in and now he is on 30 k a year working for minimum wage that's what our future holds unless we stamp them out.
 
Yes mate like the fecking black plague....anywhere and everywhere, i've been lucky i suppose pal scaffolding 18yrs next yr and i've never used an agency, always been cards in. And where i am now im almost gaurenteed a job for life as long as theres work.

In the new year there will be an absolute surge in job vacancies from agencies that they dont even have.
The answer will be that they are 'just taking names'.

Your right there john, these cuunts are just praying on the lads that want to work and the only choice they've got is agency. To promise you work and then say na they dont want you is just such a low life pathetic scumbag......

thanks scaffy1980 hopefully in the new year there should be plenty of work through proper reliable companies , and the shitte thing with agencies is that they dont pay digs so you cant afford to go there but you need to work so you have to borrow to start work so your always a week behind in wages its the classic " CATCH 22 "
