People-Start are looking for six scaffolders to start a 5-6 week contract in London. This contract will become an on going position for the right candidates.
Must have own tools, CISRS and full PPE. You will be erecting and dismantling on a commercial site.
Paying £16.50 an hour, this is a self employed position so UTR no. is a must.
If interested please call Leigh on 01329 800135 or email your CV to leigh@people-start.com

like i said Newbies..... dont have a clue on whats happening with rates and lads etc.

I think the name people start won't work you mate try up the rates or give up

I had an agency call me about the Battersea Power Station job for £21 hr the other day, I turned them down as not enough hours and they started asking me what the going rate for scaffolders is in London. I said £30 per hour.

We might be a young recruitment company but I have been in the industry for 12 years and seen this all before, up to other agencies to knock us but that really shows what type of company you are!!!! Wish everyone all the best and good luck with £20ph for part 2's. we can only go on what the company lets us charge. As for FSS you must be really busy for taking the time to knock us, or are you desperate for Scaffolders to join your company. I personally think you should look at your methods of advertising

We don't slate others to climb the ladder!! At the end of the day we are all trying to earn a buck so good luck to everyone all the best :)

It appears market forces are driving up the rates and because companies have not invested in training, good reliable scaffs who can work on their own initiative are now able to command a decent hourly rate

If you can not take the banter then mate I think your 12 years was wasted
